Rockville Science Day Returns with Robotics, Rockets and More

Rockville, Maryland, April 3 – The 28th annual Rockville Science Day offers a chance to experience science hands-on with exhibits from over 90 local organizations and businesses, featuring animals, astronomy, biology, chemistry, the environment, robotics and rockets.
The Rockville tradition is free and will be held from noon-5 p.m. on Sunday, April 23 at Montgomery College’s Rockville campus, at 51 Mannakee St. An opening ceremony is at 1 p.m.

The Mayor and Council issued a proclamation recognizing Science Day as “a local family-oriented event designed to acquaint youth with the world of science and to help both children and grown-ups alike understand how science is used in our lives.” Find video of the proclamation presentation by selecting the television icon next to the March 27 Mayor and Council agenda at www.rockvillemd.gov/AgendaCenter
