Nominate a Rockville Good Neighbor for 2013

City Recognizes Residents Who Make a Difference in the Community

Rockville, Md., Sept. 10 – Rockville’s Good Neighbor Award is your opportunity to thank a neighbor who you feel deserves recognition.

The award recognizes the ongoing efforts of Rockville residents who are making exceptional contributions to improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods through good deeds or acts of service, often without seeking or receiving recognition for their efforts.

Nominees are sought in two divisions — adult and youth — and must meet the following requirements:
• The nominee must be a resident of the City of Rockville.
• The nominee must not be employed by the City of Rockville.
• The nominee must have made a significant contribution to their community over the past year.

Good Neighbor Award recipients will be recognized at an upcoming Mayor and Council meeting in October.

The deadline for submissions is Oct. 1. To nominate a good neighbor, fill out the entry form online at www.rockvillemd.gov/goodneighbor.
