Rockville is a wonderful community, but with a rapidly growing population, we are also a city in transition. Preserving the “hometown” character of Rockville’s many neighborhoods, while ensuring that infrastructure and services keep up with growth, is the major challenge of moving Rockville forward. Working together we can meet this challenge by: - Balancing growth with road, transit and school capacities
- Coordinating Rockville’s agenda with the County and State
- Improving public safety through focused initiatives
- Investing in a clean environment
- Introducing efficiencies to provide tax relief without sacrificing quality services
- Conducting Council business with dignity
In addition to my law school training, as the leader of the National Philharmonic, in residence at Strathmore, I will bring the following experience to the City Council: - Articulating a creative vision for the future
- Forming partnerships and building consensus in support of that vision
- Proposing and implementing creative solutions to complex problems
- Winning funding and support from the State and County governments
- Developing and successfully implementing budgets
- Responding effectively to public concerns
I have deep roots in Rockville. My older daughter is a graduate of Richard Montgomery High School, where my son is now a freshman. They, my younger daughter, and their peers are the future of our community. We must work together so that the Rockville we all love is there for them to enjoy for years to come. I ask for your support and your vote on November 6. Thank you! Contact information: www.votegajewski.com. |
