Spice up your winter birthday parties and group events with an adventure at the climbing gym. No experience required. All equipment and staff provided. The entire gym is yours for your event; contact climbing@rockvillemd.gov for prices and availability.

Annual Heart-to-Heart Valentine’s Dance

Come in your finest red to dance to DJ tunes and spend time with friends. Twinbrook Elementary School PTA will sell refreshments.

Fingerprint Valentine Cards
Saturday, Feb. 11, 10-11 a.m.
Croydon Creek Nature Center
Learn how to make art with your fingerprints and put this skill to use making some Valentine cards for the people you love. An adult must accompany children under age 8.

Croydon Creek Nature Center
Help the Cornell Lab of Ornithology with their ongoing bird research. Learn how to identify common birds and go on a hike to practice your skills. We’ll count the birds we see and submit our results.

Want to continue to play ball after the winter season is over? Rockville has your answer. Get a coach and a group of friends together and play in this new middle school basketball league. Individual registration required.

Youth Sports

Youth Sports, Spring Season
T-ball, Coach Pitch Baseball, and Girls Softball league play begins
the week of April 10.
Track and Field meets begin Wednesday, May 2, at 5:45 p.m.
All youth spring sports will be played at Rockville Parks.
Register by Feb. 16.
Cost varies from $56-$88 depending on sport and City residency.
