Asian Pacific American Task Force
The Mayor and Council established the Asian Pacific American Task Force in May 2008 in an effort to create communication between the Asian-American community and the City government. The Neighborhood Resources Division works with the task force to provides resources, educates the general public about the contributions of Asian-Americans, and engages the Asian-American community (businesses and residents) in City activities.
 
Good Neighbor Award Good Neighbor Award
Held annually, the Good Neighbor Awards recognize the ongoing efforts of Rockville residents who are making exceptional contributions to improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods. Nominations are accepted all year. 

Human Rights and Community MediationHuman Rights and Community Mediation
This program is designed to assist in resolving conflicts that arise in our community. Mediation sessions may involve disputes between neighbors, roommates, co-workers, a patron and business, and organizations. This program also handles allegations of discrimination and Americans with Disabilities concerns in the City of Rockville.

Matching Grant Program

Through the ROC-N Matching Grant Program, the City of Rockville may provide monetary assistance to support neighborhood associations with projects, actions and initiatives in their communities.

Rockville University

Rockville University
A free, six-week citizen awareness program, Rock-U teaches Rockville residents about the city's history, its government, and its neighborhoods. Through staff briefings, tours and a project, participants learn about local government and develop skills to get involved in the community.

School of Rock(ville)
A free, four-day citizen awareness program for teens, School of Rock(ville) teaches students in grades 10-12 about Rockville’s history, its government, and how to make a difference in the community. Through dynamic interaction with staff, tours and a fun project, participants develop an understanding of local government, services and opportunities to influence the community.
