In addition to the offices of the City Manager, City Clerk, and City Attorney, Rockville government consists of seven departments that provide services to citizens. All of these departmental functions are supervised by the City Manager.
Citizens are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council to represent the community on Boards and Commissions. The Mayor & Council also appoint the City Manager, City Clerk/Treasurer, and City Attorney.
