I. PUBLIC HEARING

A. Variance Application APP2006-00858, James D. Kelly - for a three and one-half foot variance from the rear yard setback requirement to construct a twelve foot wide by twenty-five and one half foot wide, two story addition with basement to the rear of the house in the R-150 Zone at 3 Pipestem Court.

B. Variance Application APP2006-00859, Kevin Gallagher - for variances of nine and one half feet and four and one-half feet from the front yard setback requirement to construct a wraparound covered porch in the R-60 Zone at 1200 Highwood Road.

C. Variance Application APP2006-00860, Robert Schaaf - for a side yard variance in order to retain a handicapped ramp in the R-90 Zone at 306 Potomac Street. 

D. Special Exception SPX2006-00365 and Variance Application APP2006-00357, PMG, Inc. - for the reconstruction of an existing automobile filling station (Class I) with ancillary retail and food sales, in the C-2 zone, at 801 Hungerford Drive.  Variances from development standards that require a minimum lot size of 40,000 square feet and a minimum separation of 400 feet from property in a residential zone are also requested.

E. Special Exception SPX2005-00356, APC Realty and Equipment, LLCfor the construction of a wireless communications facility in the C-2 Zone in the form of a 98-foot monopole and associated equipment structure to be located in the rear of the Twinbrook Mart at 2001 Veirs Mill Road. Exhibits

NOTICE: The Thursday evening following each regular Saturday Board of Appeals meeting is reserved for continued meetings.  The Board's policy is to end regular meetings no later than 4:00 p.m.  Agenda items unable to be heard by that time will be rescheduled to the afore noted hearing date.

Maryland law and the Board of Appeals' Rules of Procedure regarding ex parte (extra-record) communication require all discussion, review, and consideration of this matter take place only during the Board's consideration of the item at a scheduled meeting. Telephone calls and meetings with Board members in advance of the meeting are not permitted. Written communication will be directed to appropriate staff members for response and included in briefing materials for all members of the Board.
