OLD BUSINESS Special Exception SPX2005-00352, Tamar and David Pinto, 5 Rollins Court – a request to modify the age range of children being cared for by the applicant’s childcare center. Ms. Pinto presented her request to modify the age range of children being cared for by the family childcare center. She said she would like to provide care for youngsters as early as 18 months of age, in lieu of 22 months of age that was previously approved June 15, 2005. After considering the applicant’s request and testimony, the Board determined that the reference to the ages of children being cared for by the applicant’s business at the time the Board approved SPX2005-00352, did not and was not intended to limit or restrict the applicants from providing care to children younger than 22 months of age. DECISION Mr. Sternstein moved, seconded by Mr. Deitchman to approve Special Exception SPX2005-00352, Tamar and David Pinto, 5 Rollins Court to approve the modification to the previously approved special exception to allow the applicants’ childcare operation to care for children ranging in ages starting at zero months of age through five years of age. The motion was unanimous. It was the determination of the Board that its decision and clarification in this matter again was deemed to be “de-minimis” in nature and not contrary to the evidence and information considered by the Board in its original hearing and consideration of SPX2005-00352 on May 7, 2005. ADJOURN There being no further business to come before the Board, the Chair adjourned the meeting at 10:00 am. |
