IV. HDC VACANCY RECOMMENDATION

Letters of interest were received from four candidates for the HDC vacancy: Alison Dineen, Brett Smith, Con Hitchcock, and Janet McCool (attached). The Mayor and Council will appoint a new Commissioner upon the HDC’s recommendation.

  2. 11 Laird Street. Cherry tree removal recommended by City Forester

VII. HISTORIC SITE PLAQUE DESIGN - Review of design for historic site plaques to be made available to all contributing historic district properties.

VIII. RECOMMENDATION FOR FY04 HDC CHAIR TO MAYOR AND COUNCIL
The Chairperson shall be appointed at the beginning of each fiscal year by the Mayor and Council.

The HDC adjourns at 10:00 PM unless extended by the Chair.


Maryland law and the Historic District Commission's Rules of Procedure regarding ex parte (extra-record) communications require all discussion, review, and consideration of certain matters take place only during the Commission's consideration of the item at a scheduled meeting. Telephone calls and meetings with Commission members in advance of the meeting are not permitted. Written communication will be directed to appropriate staff members for response and included in briefing materials for all members of the Commission.

Notice: The HDC now meets on the third Thursday of the month.
