Applicant: Rockville Presbyterian Church
Address: 215 West Montgomery Avenue
Request: Install 88 feet of 6 ft stockade fence to match existing neighbor’s fence along rear property line.

III. RECOMMENDATIONS ON PROPOSED PARTIAL DEMOLITIONS OF TWO KING FARMSTEAD BUILDINGS

A. BLD2004-09224 Remove two porches from the small vertical-sided residence.
B. BLD2004-09223 Remove dryer and dryer structure from hay shed/picnic shelter.

VI. HDC VACANCY RECOMMENDATION

The HDC will make a recommendation to the Mayor and Council for a new commissioner from the candidates who have submitted letters of interest. This will be open to the public; however, the HDC may elect to close the meeting to discuss specifics of any application.

  3. Rockville Cemetery design guidelines progress update: Anne Brockett – In progress, no change.

  4. East Rockville Master Plan Preservation Chapter progress update: Robin Ziek - In progress, no change.

  5. Publications: Wootton’s Mill Park Book (ongoing draft) and plaque program, King Farm History Book (not started), Rose Hill/Chestnut Lodge History Book (not started), Lincoln Park History (in progress with Lincoln Park Partners Project).

  6. Plaques in progress: Dawson Farm, Haiti Cemetery, Hurley-Carter Farmhouse, Historic Sites (no change).

The HDC adjourns at 10:00 PM unless extended by the Chair.

Telephone calls and meetings with Commission members in advance of the meeting are not permitted. Written communication will be directed to appropriate staff members for response and included in briefing materials for all members of the Commission.
