The Planning Commission (PC) received a briefing from Doug Breisch and the Telecommunications consultant (River Oaks). There was significant interest regarding potential changes to the zoning ordinance for the regulation of monopoles and other antennas. In addition, their was interest in reviewing regulatory changes about how equipment is located in the city-owned rights-of-way.

Montgomery County Historic Society (special exception and variance requests) - the PC voted to continue its discussion during its January 20 meeting at the request of the applicant. The applicant wants to get Historic District Commission comments on the location of parking spaces prior to receiving a recommendation from the PC and action by the Board of Appeals (in February).

Abandonment of Middle Alley - The PC voted 7-0 to recommend the abandonment to the Mayor and Council.
