PREVIOUS RELATED ACTIONS:

Annexation Petition ANX97-0126 was filed in 1997 to annex 5.2 acres of land. The annexation petition was subsequently revised to eliminate an enclave and to include a portion of Southlawn Lane. The Resolution (13-00) adopting the annexation was approved by the Mayor and Council at its meeting on April 10, 2000.

STAFF COMMENTS:

The plat proposes to combine two existing record lots into a single record lot. The resubdivision is proposed in order to accommodate a development proposal for the site. Proposed improvements include a 100,775 square foot building with parking to accommodate service industrial uses.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Approval, subject to the conditions noted below:

  1. That the Plat be revised to make modifications/additions, as identified on Planning Commission Exhibit "A" (in Planning Division file).
  2. That the Final Plat be submitted in an appropriate electronic format as specified in Section 25-782(c), (d) and (e) of the City of Rockville Zoning Ordinance.
