PREVIOUS RELATED ACTION:
The Mayor and Council reviewed and approved Map Amendment MAP93-0061, changing the zoning of the rear portion of this property from I-2 to I-3. The Planning Commission reviewed and approved a Use Permit development proposal in 1997, which was never implemented. At the same time a Final Record Plat was approved and recorded. A new Use Permit USE2000-00607, allowing for development of Parcel C with three office buildings containing a total of 500,000 square feet, was approved by the Planning Commission on July 12, 2000.
STAFF COMMENTS:
The proposed resubdivision does not propose any additional lots; it only repositions the dividing line between the two existing lots. The two existing lots are lots "B" and "C". Because of the new subdivision, the two new lots are renamed parcels "D" and "E". The new dividing line is consistent with the development approved with Use Permit USE2000-00607.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Approval, subject to the conditions noted below:
1. That the Plat be revised
to make modifications/additions as identified on Planning Commissions Exhibit
"A" (in Planning Division file).
2. That the Final Plat be submitted in an appropriate electronic format as specified
in Section 25-782(c), (d) and (e) of the City of Rockville Zoning Ordinance.
