I. PUBLIC HEARING
Annexation
Petition ANX2000-00130, Somerford Corporation, for annexation
of a 1.22 acre parcel of land at 9110 Darnestown Road.

TO THE MAYOR & COUNCIL
Text
Amendment Application TXT2000-00189, Somerford Corporation - for
a modification to the Zoning Ordinance to permit a five-percent increase
in the maximum lot coverage allowed in the R-S Zone for housing for
the elderly and physically handicapped.
III.
REVIEW AND ACTION
A. Time Extension
Request, Use Permit USE98-0584, Joseph Zorc - to construct a 15,288
square foot medical office building on property located at the southwest
corner of Tower Oaks Boulevard and Montrose Road. Applicant seeks
a time extension of the application's two-year expiration date, in
order to keep the application active and in full effect, allowing
the applicant added time to acquire the required building permits
to initiate the planned site development.
B. Detailed
Application CPD99-002T2, King Farm Associates - to amend previously
approved Detailed Application CPD99-0002T. Applicant requests approval
to add two additional lots to the EE Block.
C. Use Permit
USE99-0600, Realty Capital Partners LLC - a proposal to redevelop
property at 611 Rockville Pike and construct a five story office building,
structured parking, and customer drive-thru banking facilities for
the site's branch bank. Note, at its meeting on October 11, 2000 the
Planning Commission voted to defer final action on the request, in
order to give the applicant additional time to address specific transportation
and traffic safety concerns the Commission raised with regard to the
proposed site development.
D. Final Record
Plat PLT2000-00212, Realty
Capital Partners LLC - for a final record plat to consolidate
two deeded lots at 611 Rockville Pike.
E. Time Extension
Request for Use Permit USE97-0577,
FP Rockville Limited Partnership - Deferred request for a one-year
time extension for the implementation of approved plans for a 620,000
sq. ft retail and office complex at the northwest corner of East Middle
Lane and Rockville Pike.
