I. RECOMMENDATION TO THE BOARD OF APPEALS
A. DEFERRED Special Exception Application SPX2003-00338, Spyros A & SS Rozakis – for an existing accessory apartment located on the lower level at 823 Fordham Street.
II. RECOMMENDATION TO THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
A. RECOMMENDED APPROVAL (6-0) Bikeway Master Plan – to consider public hearing issues and approve the Plan with recommend changes for adoption by the Mayor and Council.
B. RECOMMENDED APPROVAL (6-0) Text Amendment Application TXT2003-00204, Seven Locks Plaza LC –to allow additional uses in the C-1, Local Commercial, Zone with a limitation of 5,000 square feet per establishment.
C. RECOMMENDED APPROVAL (5-0-1 with Commissioner Hilton abstaining) Text Amendment Application TXT2004-00206, Christ Episcopal Church/School – to allow private educational institutions in the O-2 Zone by special exception.
III. REVIEW AND ACTION
A. APPROVED (6-0) Use Permit Application USE2003-00665, Lutheran Church of the Cross – for an addition to existing church for classrooms and offices at 12801 Falls Road.
B. APPROVED (6-0) Use Permit Application USE2004-00675, Chevy Chase Bank and Federal Realty Investment (FRIT) – for a 1,500 square foot temporary bank facility and a 3,840 square foot temporary sales trailer. Request is for a duration of two and one half years during downtown redevelopment. The property is located at 41 Maryland Avenue.
