I. RECOMMENDATION TO MAYOR AND COUNCIL

A. Preliminary Development Plan Application PDP2006-00011, KAMB Ltd. – for construction of a 12,524 square foot building for use as a furniture showroom in the RPC (Rockville Pike Commercial) Zone at 900 Rockville Pike. 

II. DISCUSSION AND INSTRUCTIONS TO STAFF

A. Lincoln Park Neighborhood Plan – to consider testimony received and provide staff direction on any recommended changes to the document.

B. Lincoln Park Conservation Plan - to consider testimony received and provide staff direction on any recommended changes to the document.

The following applications were submitted in May, 2006:

  1. Variance Application APP2006-00862, David Lipman – a variance from the maximum lot coverage to add a 16 X 26 wide family room/kitchen expansion.
     
  2. Variance Application APP2006-000863, Archdiocese of Washington – a variance for a freestanding bell tower adjacent to St. Elizabeth’s Church at 917 Montrose Road.
     
  3. Variance Application APP2006-00864, Irinia & S. Pustylnik – for variances from the front yard and side yard setback requirements to construct a porch and a two-car garage. 
     
  4. Variance Application APP2006-00865, Christine Wessinger – a variance to construct a porch and a second addition onto the existing house at 2 Kemp Court.
     
  5. Use Permit Application USE2006-00697, Rockville Town Center LLC – for a multi-story condominium complex with live/work and commercial units on the first floor at 255 N. Washington Street.
     
  6. Preliminary Residential Unit PRU2006-0022A, Chestnut Lodge Properties, Inc. – for construction and development of Chestnut Lodge community.  In addition, there is proposed rehabilitation of the Main Lodge building, Rose Hill Barn, Little Lodge as well as the Stable and Icehouse.
     
  7. Use Permit Amendment USA1961-00061, IPC Maryland I LP – modification of the existing enclosure, which will be used solely for new emergency generator at 801 Thompson Avenue.
