I. BRIEFING

A.  Paving Material - A briefing on new technology in pervious paving materials will be given by Tom Evans of the Maryland Ready Mix Concrete Association and Promotion Council.

II. REVIEW AND ACTION

A.  Comprehensive Planned Development Detailed Application Amendment CPD2005-02AL1, King Farm Presbyterian Retirement Community – for revisions to the design of the Phase I building of the 1.2 million square foot senior housing community, previously approved, at 701 King Farm Boulevard in the O-3 Zone.

III. RECOMMENDATION TO BOARD OF APPEALS

A. Special Exception SPX2006-00366, Sovereign Bank – for conversion of restaurant space to a drive-through bank branch in the I-3 Zone at the Red Roof Inn, 16001 Shady Grove Road.

The following applications were submitted on September, 2006:

1.  Variance Application APP2006-00869, Ruperto Devanadera – for a variance from the front yard setback requirement in order to retain an existing 7 ft x 9 ft covered porch at 519 N. Horners Lane.

2.  Use Permit Application USE2006-00700, Robert Ackerley – for the construction of a Class I automobile filling station with a convenience store at 801 Hungerford Drive.
