I.  REVIEW AND ACTION

A. Waiver Request, 40 Court LLCfor a waiver from the requirement that transformers be located underground in order to construct an above-ground transformer in the I-1 Zone at 40 Southlawn Court. 

II. BRIEFING

A. Water Quality Ordinance – for a briefing on the new Water Quality Ordinance adopted by the Mayor and Council on July 16, 2007

B. Forest and Tree Preservation Ordinance – for a briefing on amendments to the City’s Forest and Tree Preservation Ordinance, adopted by the Mayor and Council on July 16, 2007.

The following applications were filed during the month of July 2007:

  1. Use Permit Amendment, USA2006-0699A, Duball Rockville, LLC, The applicant is proposing an amendment to Use Permit USE2006-00699 to amend the West Building to include 175 guest rooms in a limited service hotel with street level hotel lobby, 2 board rooms, hotel guest indoor pool and reconfigured parking facility and modify unit mix of approved residential dwelling units.
  2. Use Permit, USE2007-00707, Mayor and Council of Rockville, Proposes to add 40 additional parking spaces to the existing parking lot at Woodley Gardens Senior Center.
  3. Final Record Plat, PLT2007-00480, 250 Richard Montgomery Drive, Richard Montgomery High School, The applicant proposes consolidating several deeded parcels into a single record lot, which make up the overall Richard Montgomery High School property.
  4. Final Record Plat Application: PLT2007-00481, Kevin Roberts, Twinbrook Commons, LLC, The applicant proposes to assemble the various WMATA parcels on both the east and the west sides, along with the dedication for the public streets as part of Phase I A of Twinbrook Commons East Phase 1.
  5. Ownership Plat, PLT2007-00482: Kevin Roberts, Twinbrook Commons, LLC, An Ownership Plat application has been filed for the Ownership Plat for Lots 2,3 and Part of Parcel A for the Twinbrook Commons East Phase 1 A.
  6. Variance Application, APP2007-00888, 627 Small Wood Road, James Baughman, The applicant has applied for variances of 6 feet from the front and side yard setback requirements to construct two-car garage.
