I. RECOMMENDATION TO MAYOR AND COUNCIL

A. Twinbrook Neighborhood Plan – to consider recommended changes to the draft Plan, and also a resolution to approve the draft Plan and forward to the Mayor and Council for adoption.  Approved resolution 4-0-1 to approve the modified Plan and forward to the Mayor and Council with a favorable recommendation (Commissioner Hill abstaining and Commissioners Ostell and Wiener absent)

B. Use Permit Amendment USA2003-0670B, Federal Realty Investment Trust – for modifications to the design of Gibbs Street in Town Square, including reconfiguration of the bike lane and parallel parking, in the TC-3 Zone.  Recommended approval 5-0 subject to revised conditions, and that Mayor and Council consider how the project will be funded (Commissioners Ostell and Wiener absent).

II. REVIEW AND ACTION

A. Detailed Application Amendment CPD2006-004Z1, City of Rockville Department of Recreation and Parks – for the design of a public park in the R-S Zone on Fallsgrove Drive in the Fallsgrove community.  Approved 5-0 with staff conditions (Commissioners Ostell and Wiener absent)

B. Detailed Application Amendment CPD2000-004H1, City of Rockville Department of Recreation and Parks – for construction of a bike path and landscaping in lieu of a public road, in the northeast quadrant of Shady Grove Road and Darnestown Road in the Fallsgrove community.  Approved 5-0 with staff conditions, and that the bike path be a minimum of eight feet, and that staff consider widening to ten feet if budget allows (Commissioners Ostell and Wiener absent).

C. Detailed Application Amendment CPD2005-001M1, Tower Dawson, LLC – for the reconfiguration of the parking garage to serve the hotel and fitness center to be built at 2200 Tower Oaks Boulevard in the O-3 Zone.  Approved 5-0 with revised conditions (Commissioners Ostell and Wiener absent)
