I.   REVIEW AND ACTION

A.    Use Permit Amendment USA1995-0554D, Ronald Cohen Investments-for an amendment to allow the removal of a 6,280 square foot restaurant building and 3,200 square foot terrace and replacement with a 8,110 square foot retail and restaurant building at Congressional North Shopping Center in the MXCD Zone, 1501 Rockville Pike. Approved with staff conditions and findings by a vote of 6-1, with Commissioner Pakulniewicz-Chidiac opposed.

B.    Use Permit Amendment USA2005-0684D, Twinbrook Residential South LLC
(5MB)-for an amendment to allow modification to Phase 1B Block G of the Twinbrook Station Project in the PD-TC Zone on Fishers Lane. Approved with modified staff conditions and findings, by a vote of 7-0.

C.    Time Extension of Use Permit USE2006-00700, PMG Inc.-for a time extension of one year for the approved Use Permit that allows for construction of a gas station in the MXCD Zone at 801 Hungerford Drive. Approved by a vote of 7-0.

II.   BRIEFING

A.    Project Plan PJT2009-00001, Kol Shalom Synagogue-For a briefing to outline the development proposal for a 30,379 square foot synagogue in the R-200 Zone at 9104, 9110 and 9150 Darnestown Road. Received briefing.

III.  RECOMMENDATION TO MAYOR AND COUNCIL

A.    Text Amendment TXT2009-00221, Mayor and Council of Rockville-For additions and corrections to the Zoning Ordinance. Forwarded with a favorable recommendation, subject to changes as discussed at the meeting.
