I.    EXECUTIVE SESSION   (Black Eyed Susan Room)

A.    The Planning Commission, Board of Appeals and Historic District Commission will meet in Executive Session, pursuant to Section 10-508(a)(7) of the State Government Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, to consult with counsel to obtain legal advice regarding legal representation.  

B.    The Planning Commission will meet in Executive Session, pursuant to Section 10-508(a)(7) of the State Government Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, to consult with counsel to obtain legal advice regarding ex parte communication.

II.   REVIEW AND ACTION

A.    Site Plan STP2010-00027, City of Rockville - for rehabilitation and expansion of the former post office and construction of an annex building to be used as the City’s police station at 2 West Montgomery Avenue in the MXNC Zone. Approved with staff conditions by a vote of 5-0, with Commissioner Medearis absent, including a waiver of the parking requirements.

B.    Final Record Plat PLT2010-00499, City of Rockville – for the assemblage of two partial record lots into a single record lot of 23,912 square feet and street dedication at 2 West Montgomery Avenue in the MXNC Zone. Approved subject to staff recommended conditions by a vote of 5-0, with Commissioner Medearis absent.

C.    Site Plan STP2010-00028, Department of Recreation and Parks (2.5MB) -  for construction of a 6,070 square foot addition to the Rockville Senior Center at 1150 Carnation Drive in the Park Zone. Approved by a vote of 5-0, with Commissioner Medearis absent for the vote, including a waiver of the impervious surface limitations, a parking deferral of 55 spaces, and that no Gude Drive entrance be constructed.
