Re: Monthly Divisional Reports

Included as FYI.

Re: Old Business/New Business

Helen Heneghan inquired about adding benches in various places throughout the City to encourage the use of our paths and walking.  Burt Hall said that staff will work on possible locations and get back to the Board.

Terry Baker inquired about the Senior Center bus picking up people for a trip at the Farmers Market during open market times.  He wanted to know if this was going to happen again.  Burt Hall stated that he would check into it and get back to the Board.

Bob Taylor inquired about this year’s Hometown Holiday feedback compared to last years.  Burt Hall stated that to date we have received no negative feedback.  He added that the lines for the concession stands were reasonable and the beer, water and soda sales were direct sales from the vendors versus last year when we issued tickets that needed to be redeemed for beverages.  The event ran very smooth this year.

Re: Adjournment

The meeting was adjourned at 8 p.m.  The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 28 at 7 p.m. at the Rockville Municipal Swim Center.
