SRB2011-00526 – 1632 East Gude Drive, Bounce U
This modification request is to permit a building sign that does not meet the current sign concept plan for the property.  The applicant is proposing to utilize their nationally recognized colors and log of red, purple, white and black.  The only other sign on the property is a white channel letter building sign with a logo color of red and blue.

Barbara Reinhart with Designs of the Times, presented the applicant’s request.  Ms. Reinhart noted that the sign concept plan requires if there were more than one tenant on the property, the colors of the letters and sign would be dictated by the first tenant.  The other tenant, Car Quest Auto Parts sign has set the precedent and the Bounce U sign must match their sign.  The applicant is asking to use their corporate colors of purple, white and black. 

Ms. Reinhart stated that she has a letter from the building owner of the property approving the Bounce U sign colors.   

The Board discussed the colors of the sign.   

Ms. Bozzonetti moved, seconded by Ms. Hanessian to approve SRB2011-00526, 1632 East Gude Drive, Bounce U as submitted.  The motion passed unanimously.

SRB2011-00527, 1599 East Jefferson Street, Rollins Park Apartments

This application has been postponed until the Board’s June 22, 2011 meeting.

Ms. Goehrung moved, seconded by Ms. Bozzonetti to approve the minutes of March 23, 2011 as corrected.  The motion passed unanimously.
