2.    Comprehensive Transportation Review Methodology – Commission Discussion on Areas for Revision

a.    Ms. Sanders briefed the Commission on the draft changes to the Comprehensive Transportation Review (CTR).
b.    Commissioner Oberg said that the Commission should be involved earlier in the development review process for all development applications, not only those that exceed the 125 trip threshold.
c.    There was a discussion about what stage a development should come before the Commission and under what circumstances.
d.    Councilmember Britton stated that the Traffic and Transportation Commission should be notified about development applications and public meetings regarding these applications.
e.    There was consensus that the 125-trip threshold for formal review by the Traffic and Transportation Commission was satisfactory.  However, there was also consensus that revisions were needed so that the Traffic and Transportation Commission can be notified about development applications and related public meetings earlier in the development review process regardless of the number of trips generated by the development.    Staff revised the CTR accordingly and will present these revisions at the June Traffic and Transportation Commission meeting.

3.    Review and Approve April 2010 Meeting Minutes

a.    The April 2010 meeting minutes were approved with minor changes.

4.    Staff Report and Updates (Weekly)

a.    Ms. Sanders provided the weekly report.
b.    Commissioner Thomas stated that additional locations needed to be evaluated for bus pad placement.  Ms. Sanders requested that Commissioner Thomas provide a list of the locations so they may be considered.

b.    Commissioners discussed logistics and timing for the June 9th meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 p.m.
