Development Review Committee
The Development Review Committee (DRC) is comprised of representatives from City departments, with expertise in planning and zoning, forestry, transportation, stormwater management, and recreation and parks, as well as other public agencies and utilities (WSSC, PEPCO, Montgomery County, etc.) involved in the review of development proposals within the City of Rockville. At the weekly meetings, DRC members review development applications for compliance with applicable codes and regulations, and then present their comments to project applicants at the next DRC meeting.
Members of the public are welcomed to attend meetings of the DRC in order to observe; however these are not public hearings and no public participation will be allowed. If you would like to meet and discuss a specific project, the Project Managers from the Community Planning and Development Services Department (CPDS) are available. To schedule a meeting concerning a development project, please contact CPDS at 240-314-8200.
A list of DRC members is provided in Appendix F of the Development Manual.
