The holidays are right around the corner and we are working hard to make 2017 the year where every Rockville citizen has a Thanksgiving meal and every child has a gift. Our staff and volunteers work through November and December collecting donations, putting together nutritious meals and wrapping toys for hundreds of children.

WAYS YOU CAN HELP

Donate Food
We are always looking for canned food to create our Thanksgiving dinner baskets. Great items to donate include canned vegetables, fruit, gravy, cranberry sauce, rice, beans and more. Any foods you typically enjoy on Thanksgiving and are packages are wonderful additions. Donations should be dropped off at City Hall or any Rockville Community Center.

Donate Toys
Our Rockville children love getting toys for the holiday. We collect new toys to be gifted to young ones of all ages throughout the city. Consider donating books, musical toys, learning toys, LEGOs or more. Even gift cards make a delightful gift. Donations should be dropped off at City Hall or any Rockville Community Center.

Monetary Donations

For some, making a monetary donation is a convenient option for those who want to give back. We now accept easy, online donations in $25 increments. You can also donate gift certificates from area grocery stores and Target. You can mail or drop off gift certificates or tax-deductible checks (made out to the Rockville Holiday Drive Fund)
at City Hall.

Volunteer
Every year, we need volunteers to help package the food, organize the baskets, sort the toys, and welcome families at the December Toy Shop.

Learn more or sign up to volunteer by contacting Sarah Dickinson at 240-314-8304 or by email.

The continued success of the Rockville Holiday Drive depends on a collaborative partnership with local churches, schools, civic organizations, service clubs, businesses, non-profits, and individuals working together to make the holidays special for the less fortunate. On behalf of the City of Rockville and the residents served by the Holiday Drive, thank you for your support!
