2014 Polar Bear Plunge

Every year, the Rockville City Police plunge into the cold water of the Chesapeake Bay at Sandy Point State Park to raise money for Special Olympics Maryland.

The RCPD has raised more than $18,000 over the past four years with even K9 Officer Boomer participating in the Plunge.
