Rockville Business Academy Fall Session 2016

Businesses and people interested in doing business in Rockville have the opportunity to learn more about what the City has to offer through the Rockville Business Academy.

The free, one-day program will be held from 8:00 to noon on Nov. 17 at the Glenview Mansion, 603 Edmonston Dr, Rockville, MD 20851. The sessions will be lead by staff from the City, REDI, Rockville Chamber of Commerce and Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Montgomery County.

This is the fifth year of the program, which will give businesses the tools to know how to grow, connect, serve and thrive in Rockville.

This one-day session will cover:

  • Community Planning and Development Services: Planning for the future of your business
  • Procurement  Division: Doing Business with the City
  • Environmental Management Division: Making your business green.
  • Rockville City Police Department: Keeping your business and employees safe
  • Parks and Recreation: How to partner and get involved in the City
  • REDI: Growing your business from good to great
  • Rockville Chamber of Commerce: Growing by networking
  • Hispanic Chamber of Commerce: Reaching to new markets  


The program is offered through the Public Information and Community Engagement Division in partnership with the Rockville Chamber of Commerce, REDI and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Montgomery County.
