Hometown Holidays A-Z Guide 
The A-Z Guide is your one-stop-shop for everything you want to know about HTH. 

Entry into Hometown Holidays Music Festival (HTH), and the Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade is free. Hours of operation are:

Hometown Holidays
Saturday, May 28: 2 - 10 p.m.
Sunday, May 29: 2 - 10 p.m.

The Taste of Rockville will open at noon each day. 

Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade
Monday, May 30:   
9 a.m. - Musical Tribute 
9:30 a.m. - Ceremony 
10:30 a.m. - Parade 
Rockville strives to provide access to all programs and services regardless of ability. Contact the ADA Coordinator at 240-314-8137, or e-mail with questions regarding access to HTH.

A sign language interpreter will be on site for the Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade on Monday.
Animals, other than service animals, should not be brought to HTH.
Soda, water and beer are available for purchase at beverage booths located throughout the event. Visitors can purchase this year's HTH collectors mug at any beverage booth. Beverage booths accept cash and credit.
Rockville is a bike-friendly community. We also have several Capitol Bikeshare stations. Bikes are not permitted to be ridden in the event area. Learn more about Rockville’s Bike Paths.
HTH accepts cash and credit. ATMs are available throughout Rockville Town Center.
A limited number of chairs will be provided throughout the event. Guests are encouraged to bring beach/lawn chairs and blankets to ensure comfortable seating.
City of Rockville Information Booth
The City of Rockville will be onsite to answer your questions regarding City services and offerings.  This booth is located next to the event information booth on Maryland Ave. and E. Middle Ln. 
City of Rockville Recreation and Parks Booth
Stop by for fun giveaways, activities, and learn about the city's recreation offerings.  Located near the Bud Light Beach Stage.

Community Groups are located on E. Montgomery Ave. near the Old Line Bank Hungerford's Tavern Stage.  Stop by and learn about some wonderful organizations doing great things in our community.   
• HTH is located in Rockville Town Center in the heart of Rockville, Maryland.
• From I-270, take either exit 5 or exit 6 and head east into Rockville. Follow signs for parking.
• From Route 355/Rockville Pike, going north into Rockville, turn left onto Route 28 and follow signs for parking.
• From up county using Route 355/Rockville Pike, drive south into Rockville and and use the parking garage located off of    Route 355/Rockville Pike or turn right onto Route 28 and follow signs for parking.

Elected Officials and Political Candidates
Onsite Booth
Elected officials and those running for office may have a booth on site at Hometown Holidays. Please download and complete an application, and submit payment to participate.

Current elected officials may participate in parades sponsored by the City of Rockville, including City of Rockville and other municipal, county, state and federal elected officials. Download a registration form and parade rules

Candidates for City of Rockville Mayor and Council offices may participate in parades if they are certified to appear on the ballot by the City’s Board of Supervisors of Elections. For the Memorial Day parade, participants must be certified by May 15.

Individuals who are not elected officials and are candidates for non-City of Rockville elected office may not participate in parades sponsored by the City of Rockville.

First Aid 
First aid is located near the intersection of East Middle Lane and Maryland Avenue near Starbucks Coffee.  
Food is available for purchase at the Taste of Rockville located on Maryland Avenue, or at one of the many restaurants located in Rockville Town Center. Learn more about Taste of Rockville

Be sure to bring a valid ID if you plan on purchasing beer at the festival. We do check IDs.
Information Tent
The information tent is located on site on the corner of East Middle Lane and Maryland Avenue near Gordon Biersch. You can bring and locate lost and found items here as well as receive general festival information.  The City of Rockville will also be onsite to answer questions about City services and offerings.  This tent is located next to the event information tent.
Kids Activities
Kids amusements are located in the parking lot between Middle Lane and East Montgomery Avenue. There is a fee for these activities. Free kids entertainment is available on the Town Square Stage throughout the weekend. The Rockville beach, located near the Bud Light Beach Stage is also a lot of fun for the little ones. Learn more!
Lost and Found 
Did you lose something at HTH? Or find something at HTH? Come to the information tent near the intersection of East Montgomery Avenue and Maryland Avenue and let us know and we will take it from there. If you are looking for an item after the event, call us at 240-314-8620 or e-mail us at and we will let you know if it was turned in.

Memorial Day Ceremony  
Join us in Rockville Town Square for a Memorial Day concert starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 30. The Rockville Concert Band and Chorus will perform a musical tribute. Following at 9:30 a.m., the Memorial Day Ceremony will include a traditional wreath laying, 21-gun salute and presentation of the colors. Learn more about the ceremony. 
Memorial Day Parade
The City of Rockville’s 72nd Annual Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 30 at 10:30 a.m. and will go through Rockville Town Square.  View a map of the parade route

We are no longer accepting applications for this year's parade. 
Take the Metro's Red Line to the Rockville station. Exit on the Rockville Pike side, and follow the sounds of music across the street to Middle Lane. MARC train service will not be running over Memorial Day Weekend.

Free parking is available at the Council Office Building on Fleet Street, Metro lots, and City Hall lots.

Paid parking is available for $5 in the Rockville Town Square garage located off of Route 355 or North Washington Street from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29, and 7 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, May 30. Cash and credit accepted. Regular Town Square parking rate.

Dawson's Market parking spaces are reserved for customers only and will be strictly enforced.

Prohibited Items 
For the safety of our guests, please do not bring the following items to HTH:
- Glass containers
- Animals, other than service dogs
- No bikes, skateboards, or inline skates inside the event. May not ride on site; must walk bikes and skateboards.
Portable restrooms are located throughout event grounds.
Road Closures  
There will be road closures associated with HTH. Click here for a complete list. 
Smoking is prohibited in City parks.  If you choose to smoke, please be aware of those around you.

Taste of Rockville  
Rockville’s restaurants will offer the chance to awaken your taste buds by offering tastes of their dishes. More than 25 restaurants will take part in this year’s Taste of Rockville. Tickets are $1.25 each and can be purchased at the ticket booths located within the Taste of Rockville. The Taste of Rockville will open Saturday and Sunday from Noon-10 p.m,. on Maryland Ave. and Courthouse Sq. Learn more about the Taste of Rockville.
