Neighborhood Resources Division
The Neighborhood Resources Division is based on the core belief that a strong partnership with neighborhoods will improve City services and strengthen communities.
The Division informs and engages citizens in order to ensure responsive City services and a high quality of life in neighborhoods. It supports neighborhood organizations, serves as a liaison and facilitates communication between City government and residents, cultivates civic leadership, and supports citizen initiated neighborhood improvement projects.

The Division also promotes human rights and helps the City Government respond to the needs of a diverse population by supporting the Human Rights Commission and the Asian Pacific-American
Task Force, and offering  mediation services. In addition to promoting human rights within the City, the division schedules mediations, provides trainings as well as educational and diversity awareness events.

Neighborhood Resources Coordinators
Each neighborhood resources coordinator serves as a liaison, consultant and resource for Rockville residents. Coordinators work with other City departments to solve problems and address the needs of neighborhoods.

To determine which neighborhood resources coordinator serves your neighborhood, view the Neighborhood Resources Coordinator Map, color coded by coordinator.
