Rockville 2040 - Comprehensive Master Plan Update
Rockville Needs to Hear from You!
Rockville is in the process of updating its Comprehensive Master Plan. The first phase focused on individual projects and components of the Master Plan. The second phase, now underway, focuses on a revision of the broader 2002 Master Plan document and any other aspects that emerge during the community conversation.

Trends Reports provide context for Rockville 2040 Master Plan Update
To understand conditions in the city as they stand today, city departments are preparing trends reports in several key topic areas that will inform the Master Plan Update. Topic areas include Community Facilities, Economy, Environment, Historic Preservation, Housing, Land Use, and Transportation. Comments are welcome and will be appended to the final reports.

Thank you for a successful kick-off to Rockville 2040
On May 9, 2015, the city held a kick-off meeting for Rockville 2040, the process to update the city’s Comprehensive Master Plan (CMP). More than 50 members of the public, plus several members of city staff, participated.
