Rockville Pike Neighborhood Plan Update
Rockville Pike Neighborhood Plan Implementation
The Mayor and Council authorized filing of a Zoning Text Amendment (TXT2018-00247) on July 10, 2017 and a Sectional Map Amendment (MAP2018-00116) on August 2, 2017 to implement the land use policies of the adopted plan into the Rockville Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map, respectively.

The Planning Commission started its review of the proposed amendments at its meeting on September 13, 2017. The Commission will continue its review at its September 27th meeting and will provide its recommendations to the Mayor and Council. The public may provide comments to the Planning Commission on these proposed amendments.

The Mayor and Council is scheduled to hold a public hearing on the proposed text and map amendments on October 16, 2017, which will offer an additional opportunity for public comment.
