Annual Grants Management
In addition to the programs operated by the Community Services Division, the City provides enhancement grants to local private nonprofit agencies to provide housing, health care, and supportive services to Rockville residents. The Division coordinates the annual grant application process, receives and processes reimbursement requests, compiles quarterly service utilization reports, and conducts formal site visits.

City of Rockville Annual Grant Applications

Review of Fiscal Year 2018-2019 grant applications is complete. Applicants were notified of the level of funding that the City Manager recommended to the Mayor & Council for inclusion in the FY 2018 budget, and public hearings have been held at Mayor & Council meetings for any applicants who wished to speak in support of their programs. On May 1, 2017, the Mayor and Council approved the FY 2018 budget, and applicants have since been notified of their approved levels of funding for FY 2018. A final published listing of these applicants will be posted on this page upon the publishing of the FY 2018 adopted budget book in July.

The Community Services Division also represents the City as a member of the Caregivers Coalition, a collaborative organization of nonprofit and governmental social service programs that meets on a regular basis to discuss issues of mutual concern to human service providers in Rockville.
