Leaders in Training (LIT) Program/ Future Leaders Camp - Summer Program
Registration for summer 2016 begins in January and details will be in the Camp Guide. 

Attending the Future Leaders Camp (FLC) is a prerequisite for the Leadership in Training (LIT) summer volunteer program.
Teens who plan on being LITs in 2017 must participate in a two-week FLC camp in 2016 that includes fun, interactive workshops, games and activities designed to prepare teens to volunteer and/or work in a camp/playground environment.

Week one will include a team building trip and during week two, participants will have the opportunity to earn up to 30 Student Service Learning (SSL) hours. Participants must be 13 by July 1 to attend FLC (LITs are age 14-16). Transportation is available for this program.

Note: Returning LITs are not required to participate in FLC.

Mentoring: Be a Friend. Make a Difference.

Be a friend to an elementary school-aged youth in a structured setting. Mentoring takes place after school for one hour per week during the school year at elementary schools. No experience is necessary and training is provided. Mentors must be at least 16 years old. Call 240-314-8317 or send an email.
