Rockville Pike Neighborhood Plan Update
Rockville Pike Neighborhood Plan Implementation
The Mayor and Council authorized filing of a Zoning Text Amendment (TXT2018-00247) on July 10, 2017 and a Sectional Map Amendment (MAP2018-00116) on August 2, 2017 to implement the land use policies of the adopted Rockville Pike Neighborhood Plan into the Rockville Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map, respectively. The Mayor and Council held a public hearing on the proposed text and map amendments on October 16th and a work session on October 30th. The public record for written testimony closed on October 27, 2017.

Discussion and Instructions to staff on both amendments is expected December 4th with an introduction of the Ordinances, and Possible Adoption, for each amendment scheduled at the Mayor and Council's regularly scheduled meeting on January 8, 2018.
