What We Do
The Department of Finance helps the various agencies of the City government meet their service objectives by acquiring goods and services, allocating the organization's available human and financial resources, processing financial transactions, and providing information and analysis as a basis for decision making.

The department bills and/or collects the major City revenues and provides assistance to taxpayers and utility customers.

The department also provides financial planning services for the City, secures financing for capital construction, and safeguards and invests City funds.
