 | The Lincoln Park Community Center (LPCC) is available for use by residents, organizations, and businesses located within the city's corporate limits. The LPCC may be used for meetings, business forums, theatrical presentations, demonstrations, sport events, private affairs/parties, anniversaries, and other such occasions. Reservations and Permits - Reservations are accepted up to six (6) months in advance and are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Applications for use of the center must be submitted for all reservations. Application forms may be picked up at the LPCC. All applications are subject to the approval of the LPCC Supervisor. Use is not confirmed until the application is approved.
- Request for events for which fees are charged to participants or attendees will be treated as rentals and will be handled on a case by case basis.
- Individuals wishing to use the LPCC for private functions will be permitted to rent the facility. A reservation fee is required upon application to hold the rental date. The rental fee and security deposits are required to be paid in full two (2) weeks prior to the event. If applicant cancels the rental with (2) weeks of the rental date, only half of the rental fee will be refunded. Application fee is non-refundable.
- Alcohol is not allowed.
Space Availability The LPCC is available for use whenever regularly planned recreation activities are not scheduled. Meetings can be scheduled where space permits on any day of the week during center open hours. Center Hours: Monday-Saturday 9 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. Sunday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Rentals can be requested on Saturdays and Sundays. Other possible times may be considered on a case by case basis. | - A walk-through will be required before and after use. (Event coordinator must be present.)
- Set-up time allowed is one (1) hour before the event.
- Clean-up time allowed is one (1) hour after the event.
- A staff person will be on duty to open and close the facility.
- Staff is only available for minor assistance. Set-up and take down is the responsibility of the user. Over use of staff could result in non-refund of security deposit.
- Outdoor grounds must be reserved separately.
- $40 rental fee for use of kitchen.
An additional $50.00 security deposit (cash, check, or money order ONLY) is due, along with the rental application, in order to reserve a date. Secerity Deposit is refundable if facility is restored to its original condition. Rentals are available an hour before for setup and an hour after for cleanup. Setup and cleanup times are not charged. However, rentals must be reserved and paid for by the hour. Rental fees are due two weeks before your scheduled event. Personal checks are not accepted if you are reserving two weeks or less before your event (cash, charge or money order accepted.) All organizations and adhoc bodies which are comprised of 60 percent or more Rockville residents with a primary purpose which is not private, promotional, or commercial. - Private Resident/Business:
Rockville citizens and businesses renting for self interest (parties, showers, business meetings, etc.). - Political Groups:
National, state, and local political parties are permitted to rent City facilities for any legal use such as fund-raising events, rallies, occasions to solicit membership, and annual meetings.

- The room will be setup by the renter. Additional help is available, however a setup plan is required two weeks prior to your event.
- You are responsible for returning the room to its original condition. This includes collecting all trash and depositing it into the dumpster outside.
- If damage is incurred to the building, equipment, or fixtures and costs exceed the $50.00 security deposit, you will be billed for the full cost of repair or replacement.
- Catering or DJ equipment can be delivered on the day of the event with prior approval from Center Supervisors. A copy of the caterer’s license must be given to LPCC prior to the event.
- No cooking is to take place on site. Foods are to be refrigerated or kept warm only.
- No pets, rice, confetti, birdseed, or glitter are allowed in the building.
- Smoking is not permitted in the building.
- All rentals must end no later than 10:30 p.m. All participants must leave the facility and the park/parking lot immediately at the end of the event.
- Renter is responsible for the behavior of all attendees. Failure to obey any facility rules and regulation, excessive noise, fighting, drunkenness, vandalism, etc. will not be tolerated. Attendees involved in unacceptable behavior will be required to leave immediately, or the event will be terminated.
- Rentals include the use of the room that is rented not the entire building. If guests do not have a facility membership, they must stay in the room in which the event is being held.
- Please bring your own kitchen utensils supplies and any other need equipment including ice.
- A 10% administration fee will be charged for cancellations more than 60 days before the event. If reservation is cancelled 30-60 days before event we retain a 20% administration fee. If the event is canceled less then 30 days prior to the event we retain entire rental fee and security deposit.
- Music, PA systems, etc. must be set at a volume that cannot be heard outside the building. Facility staff have full control over volume level. (No amplified music)
- Alcohol is prohibited for all types of indoor and outdoor rentals.
- Rentals are for private parties only. Rentals are not allowed for events advertised to the public, or for events in which tickets are sold, etc.
- The user shall be fully responsible for and shall indemnity and hold the city harmless from any damage to objects or property belonging to the City of Rockville and for any personal injury incurred during or as a result of such use. The user is responsible for obtaining all permits and licenses necessary for the proposed activities. The user also agrees to abide by the above and by the scheduled hours of use. The City of Rockville will not assume responsibility for personal items brought into or left in the facility by the user, guest or subcontractor.
- The City of Rockville reserves the right to deny future rentals if the above is not followed.
