Rockville Hosts Viewing of the Presidential Inauguration
 
ROCKVILLE, Md., Jan. 6, 2009 - The City of Rockville will host a viewing of the inauguration of 44th President Barack Obama on Tuesday, Jan. 20, in council chambers at City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave.
 
The City will televise the swearing-in ceremony, inaugural address and associated festivities from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on the television monitors and big screen. The swearing-in ceremony takes place at 11:30 a.m. on the steps of the U.S. Capitol.
 
Anyone wishing to watch coverage on a big screen or in the company of others can plan to drop-in at City Hall. For more information, call 240-314-5000.
