Rockville Kicks Off Out to Lunch Season June 2
ROCKVILLE, Md., May 20, 2010 -Rockville will kick off the start of summer with its Out to Lunch series every Wednesday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., featuring a weekly farmers market and live musical performances.
Every Wednesday, June 2 through Oct. 27, East Montgomery Avenue becomes a pedestrian mall for Rockville residents, workers and visitors to explore with live music and great food at Out to Lunch.
The farmers market features locally grown fruits and vegetables, fresh cut flowers, fresh-baked breads and cookies and fresh crepes made to order.
The performers scheduled for this season are as follows:
All performances take place noon to 1:30 p.m.
Rockville also hosts a farmers market every Saturday through Nov. 20, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at the corner of Route 28 and Monroe Street.
