Rockville City Hall to Close July 5
Some Rockville Offices and Programs are Closed or Canceled in Observance of Independence Day
 
ROCKVILLE, Md., June 22, 2010 - Rockville will observe the July 4 holiday on Monday, July 5, and City Hall, as well as other facilities will be closed. Residents should be aware of a change in hours at some locations that will remain open on Sunday, July 4, and Monday, July 5.
 
Recycling, refuse, yard waste and special collections will be collected as scheduled Monday, July 5.
 
Parking fees at City-owned garages and meters will be suspended Monday, July 5.
 
The following list outlines specific schedules for City facilities.

• Croydon Creek Nature Center will be closed Sunday, July 4, and Monday, July 5.
• F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and Box Office will be closed Monday, July 5.
• Glenview Mansion closed Monday, July 5.
• Lincoln Park Community Center will be closed Sunday, July 4, and open Monday, July 5.
• Rockville Senior Center will be closed Sunday, July 4, and Monday, July 5.
• Rockville Swim and Fitness Center open Sunday, July 4, and open Monday, July 5, regular hours.
• Summer Camps/Playgrounds will not be held Monday, July 5.
• Thomas Farm Community Center will be closed Sunday, July 4, and open Monday, July 5.
• Twinbrook Community Recreation Center will be closed Sunday, July 4, and open Monday, July 5.
