Portions of Baltimore Road Closed Thursday, July 8, for Repair Work
ROCKVILLE, Md., July 7, 2010 -The City of Rockville will close Baltimore Road to traffic in both directions between Broadwood Drive and Edmonston Drive, beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday, July 8. Crews need to perform emergency repair work necessary because of a failing storm drainpipe.
The work will continue until the repairs are completed, which is expected no later than 6 p.m. Thursday. Traffic will be diverted onto Broadwood Drive, then Grandin Avenue, then Edmonston Drive, then back onto Baltimore Road. The detour in the opposite direction will follow the same route. Detour signs will be posted to guide traffic.
