ROCKVILLE, Md., July 9, 2010 -The Rockville City Police Department charged a Silver Spring man for his role in the burglary of a business located in the Wintergreen Plaza.
Patrick Oliver Green, age 18, who was staying in the 11000 block of Selfridge Drive in Silver Spring, was charged with one count each of second-degree burglary, theft under $1,000, malicious destruction of property less than $500 and resisting arrest.
A business in the 800 block of Rockville Pike in the Wintergreen Plaza was broken into just before 11 p.m. July 3. Surveillance footage showed a man, whom police later identified as Green, in the business after operating hours.

The officer called for back up and followed Green to the Rockville Metro Station, where Green tried to elude police. Officers entered into a foot chase and took him into custody on a residential street in East Rockville.
Green was being held at the Montgomery County Detention Center. His bond status is unknown at this time.
