City of Rockville to Participate in Back to School Fair
Rockville, Md., August 24, 2010 - The City of Rockville will participate in the Montgomery County Public Schools Back to School Fair Saturday, Aug. 28, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the grounds of the Carver Educational Services Center, 850 Hungerford Drive.
Rockville will host an informational booth at the fair to allow residents and visitors to learn about City services for families and youth. The City's booth will be in the community partner section of the fair.
The booth will feature information about City programs, services and amenities, recreation program guides and registration information, and foreign-language resources.
This year marks the third annual Back-to-School Fair. Last year, about 8,000 people attended the fair and fair organizers expect even greater participation this year.
