Glenview Mansion Art Gallery Presents Free Show and Concert in September
ROCKVILLE, MD, September 7, 2010 - The Glenview Mansion Art Gallery at Rockville Civic Center Park, 603 Edmonston Drive, will showcase local visual artists Floris Flam, Shanye Huang, Sallie Lowenstein and Michael Sellmeyer, and a performance by the U.S. Navy Band, Chamber Ensemble at a free community reception Sunday, Sept. 12, 1-30-3:30 p.m.
The monthly gallery exhibit will feature Flam's quilted fibre; Huang's paintings; Lowenstein's wood and stone sculpture and screens; and Sellmeyer's painting and drawing. The show will run Sunday, Sept. 12, through Tuesday, Oct. 5. Admission to the gallery is free. Gallery hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; and closed official City holidays. Glenview Mansion Art Gallery is wheelchair accessible.
The U.S. Navy Band, Chamber Ensemble will entertain visitors between 2 and 3 p.m.
