Club Rockville Debuts for Middle School Students
Rockville, Md., March 14, 2011 - Middle school students can hang out with their friends and have fun when Club Rockville debuts this month.
"Along with our other programs for teens, Club Rockville is designed to provide a fun and safe entertainment alternative for students when they are not in school," Nina Herndon, teens program supervisor, said.
The first Club Rockville activity will be an excursion to the Shady Grove 300 bowling alley Wednesday, March 30, 3 to 5 p.m., for an afternoon of bowling, pizza and soda. The cost is $5 for residents and $7 for nonresidents.
In April, Club Rockville will feature a rooftop dance Friday, April 29, 7:30-10:30 p.m., on the Rooftop in Town Square.
Students must register in advance and show a student ID to enter. To register, visit the City's website at www.rockvillemd.gov and click on Recreation Registration under Online Services.
