Rockville City Hall to Close in Observance of Independence Day
Recycling, Refuse Collection Shifts Forward One Day
 
ROCKVILLE, Md., June 15, 2011-Rockville City Hall will be closed Monday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Most Rockville facilities and programs will not operate July 4.

Parking fees at City-owned meters and garages will be suspended for the day.

Recycling, yard waste and refuse collection will be suspended and the schedule will shift forward one day for all customers. Friday customers will put their items out on Saturday. For more information residents may call 240-314-8568 or go to www.rockvillemd.gov/recycling-refuse.

Rockville will celebrate Independence Day with a fireworks display and musical entertainment. The City will host the free event from 7-10 p.m. Monday, July 4, at Montgomery College-Rockville Campus, 51 Mannakee St.
