Rockville Police Search for Suspects in Series of Pharmacy Burglaries 

ROCKVILLE, Md., June 28, 2011 - The Rockville City Police Department is seeking help to identify three suspects in a series of burglaries at Rockville Pharmacy, located at 50 W. Edmonston Drive, where approximately $16,000 in narcotics have been stolen in the past month.

Rockville City Police were first called to the pharmacy just after 5:30 a.m. May 16 for an alarm. When officers arrived they discovered the front door to the business was pried open. During that incident, $10,000 worth of narcotics was taken from the pharmacy.

On June 24, a Rockville Pharmacy employee arrived at work to discover a long scratch in the front door and window, indicating attempted access. Nothing was taken in the incident. Police believe an individual or individuals attempted to gain access to the pharmacy between 2 and 8 a.m.

On June 25, officers responded about 9:30 p.m. to an alarm at the pharmacy and found the rear door had been forced open. In that incident, $6,000 worth of narcotics was removed. Three suspects, all wearing masks and gloves, were seen on video surveillance. A link to the video is available at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPcAqicRs20.
