Free Parking Coupons Set to Expire Sept. 1
Rockville Town Center Garages Will Have New Management
Rockville, Md., Aug 17, 2011 – Rockville residents have until Tuesday, Sept. 1, to use previously distributed coupon codes for free Town Square parking. The coupon codes were issued in June 2009. Rockville Town Square garages will be under new management, and the parking system will be replaced, rendering the coupon codes invalid.
The coupon codes may be used in any of the three City-owned parking garages in Rockville Town Square. The garages are located at 215 North Washington Street, 30 Maryland Avenue and 330 Hungerford Drive (Route 355) between East Middle Lane and Beall Avenue.
Federal Realty Investment Trust (FRIT) will assume management of the garages Sept. 1. At that time, FRIT will install an updated parking system that offers customers up to two hours of free parking with validation.
