State Sen. Jennie Forehand to Join Rockville's Election Night Live Coverage
Unofficial Results will be Posted Online and Announced on Rockville 11
ROCKVILLE, Md., November 8, 2011— State Sen. Jennie M. Forehand (D-Dist. 17) will join a live panel discussion Tuesday, Nov. 8, during the City of Rockville's Election Night Live, beginning at 9 p.m. on Rockville 11 (cable channel 11) and streaming online at www.rockvillemd.gov.
Elections for mayor and four council members in the City of Rockville are taking place today. Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
Results of the 2011 election will be available on Rockville 11, the City’s website, www.rockvillemd.gov, and will be posted at City Hall. Results are not official until Tuesday, Nov. 15.
Rockville 11 will feature special Election Night Live coverage, beginning at 9 p.m. tonight. Coverage will feature host Susan Kenedy talking with Councilmember John Britton, County Councilman Philip M. Andrews (D-Dist. 2), former Rockville Mayor Rose Krasnow, state Del. Kumar Barve (D-Dist. 17) and Forehand.
Election Night Live will feature a discussion among leaders on the top issues affecting Rockville. Rockville 11 will break in to give results of the 2011 election for the mayor and four council seats as soon as they become available.
All Rockville 11 coverage can be seen on cable channel 11 or streaming live on the City's website, www.rockvillemd.gov.
Rockville 11 will provide post-election recap coverage, beginning Wednesday, Nov. 9.
