Rockville Mayor and Council to Receive Second Budget Preview
Proposed Budget Presentation Set for Mar. 26
ROCKVILLE, Md., Feb. 23, 2012 - The Rockville Mayor and Council are scheduled to receive on Monday, Feb. 27, a Fiscal Year 2013 budget preview, including an overview of key revenues and expenditures. This is the second of two previews.
The preview will include information about the City’s operating budget, Capital Improvement Program and Utility rates.
The proposed budget is set to be presented to the Mayor and Council on Monday, Mar. 26, at City Hall. Two more public hearings are scheduled to be held Apr. 2 and May 7 at 7 p.m. at City Hall. The public is encouraged to testify in person, or to submit written testimony to the Mayor and Council via mail, 111 Maryland Ave. or email at mayorcouncil@rockvillemd.gov. Final budget adoption is set for May 21. Fiscal year 2013 starts on Jul. 1.
